WELCOME TO THE TIP OF KJERRINGØY Here at the tip of Kjerringøy you'll find a place to relax after a long day hiking or out on the sea. Take a refreshing dip in the ocean followed by a sauna. Enjoy the spectacular view of mountains and sea from one of our deck chairs, or borrow a rod - and maybe a row boat - and try your luck fishing. Kjerringøy is only about an hour from Bodø by car. Hop on the ferry and drive the length of the island until you run out of road, that's where you'll find Kjerringøy Fishing Lodge. The inn was originally a fishery where shrimp boats also unloaded, but for the past 30 years it's been used as summer accommodation for groups and tourists. Our ten, newly renovated, fisherman's cottages can accommodate up to 40 guests, while our café/pub and conference facilities can seat up to 60 people. The entire lodge is situated on a 1500 square meter pier.
